Hi Guys,

I'm Dylan, the lead trombone player in the Sumner High School Marching Band. I was galavanting around looking for things I recognized, and here's what I found (along with Skyview). I've seen you guys perform, and you're amazing. I wish we could come up to your level. We'll be at the GFP, and the Fri. field show, but we could never be your equal, at least not this year. I was wondering how you keep prople going as the end of the year rapidly approaches, and what you could suggest I could do as a senior next year.

I guess as I am a senior in the EMB i should say something. plus, i feel sort of bad as noone is commenting, and i noticed that.

It's been a while since the end of the season. can't remember much, senioritis and all. If i come up with better things, ill come tell you.

well, generally as the year is ending, the season that is, we are usually cramming the end of our show, or have just done so. Therefor, we are making it better, and closer to perfection. well, that's the goal. It's usually the middle of the season that lags, and people don't notice.

Thanks for all the nice comments about us. We work hard, i'm sure you guys can catch up. Marching bands go in cycles, we just decided to peak a little bit ago, in my opinion.

Thanks for responding. You have no idea what drama has gone on this year, and it's good to know we're not the only ones.

im going to be a senior too. but i think most people realize how fun fall season is, and just look foward to it the following year. we usually get to listen to our music before school is out, and i think people look foward to playing it and get excited about the new drill, and working with todd zimbalmin (hes the University of Oregon marching band instructor). also we work really hard and life gets crazy on the feild. but keep working hard and you guys will get there eventually. lol...your FFA is really successful, so your marching band can be too. :-D
